About Wimborne RFC
Wimborne Rugby Club has been in existence in its present format since 1950 and is located at Leigh Park, Gordon Road on the eastern side of the market town of Wimborne in Dorset.
Recent Club Success
In recent previous seasons, the 1st XV have won the Southern Counties South (RFU Tier 7) league, won Dorset & Wilts cup, Southern Counties Cup, runners up in the South West England cup and also reached the quarter final of the National Cup competition. This year, our 2nd XV won the Dorset and Wilts League 1 (RFU Tier 8) and Dorset & Wilts Cup to complete a memorable double, our 3rd XV reaching their cup final.
